The Egg’s Managing Director, Michel Lawrence was Executive Creative Director and then Chairman of multi-national advertising agency J. Walter Thompson from 1990 until 2002. Previously he was Executive Creative Director at Mattingly and Partners, then one of Australia’s largest retail agencies with clients such as Myer, Safeway and Beaurepaires.
He has worked worked across all mediums and has been responsible for many hundreds of television commercials for companies such as Ford, Kraft, Shell, BP, The Royal Australian Air Force, Myer, Safeway, Blockbuster, Sussan, Rolex, The Herald Sun, and News Limited.
At The Egg he has worked on numerous Federal and State Government advertising projects as well as pro bono projects for organizations such as The Australian Red Cross and The Mental Health Research Institute.
He has also put back into the industry serving terms as President of the Melbourne Art and Design Club and the Advertising Federation.
